Rosalia Peña is a self-taught artist who specializes in using pastel pencils, acrylic paint, spray paint, and other mediums on Bristol vellum paper and canvases to produce colorful paintings with strong spiritual feelings.
Abstract art is what moves her the most she explains, “Freedom of expression is the best way for me to pour what's on my mind into a work of art”.
Several of her original works have been sold/auctioned, some of which can be seen on the walls of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, (now called Neighbor Health), where she worked as a Medical Assistant while attending school for her Psychology degree.
Rosalia has been an “Art of Health Care Fundraiser” participant since 2017 which has given her the confidence to keep doing what she loves – making Art!
