Tim Zeitler

My work delves into the physical qualities of materials and how they evolve over time. Using processes like casting, I create scenes that evoke the passage of time and a sense of weathering--with textures that hold their own stories. I’m drawn to the way objects, like people, transform and bear marks of time’s passage. Through studies in both color and form, I hope to evoke a shared sense of reflection and resilience, inviting us to see beauty in both the fleeting and the enduring aspects of our lives. We are all molds, we are all casts.
