Hi, I'm Chris Rose. I'm a self-taught painter and drawer born and raised in Massachusetts. I paint all kinds of subjects: landscapes, still lifes, paintings of the human figure, and the occasional abstract. I like to work in the moment, drawing directly from life, in order to channel the fleeting temperament of nature as well as my own emotional space. My work is marked by vivid colors and gestural brushstrokes.
